Semi-Naked Wedding Cakes
With a semi naked wedding cake you get the best of both worlds. A naked cake with a light mist of buttercream wrapped around the tiers. Discreetly showing the delicious layers beneath.
Semi naked cakes are termed as rustic cakes, but I believe every cake has a different personality and is styled accordingly.
You can have rustic and earthy - like the example of my lavender and wheat cake. Minimalist style - simply dressed with seasonal berries to add pops of delicious, fresh colour. Floral style - Dressed with organic edible flowers or flowers from your florist. That work with the colour scheme/ theme of your magical day.
Every tier of a semi naked wedding cake is 3 layers deep (as standard, but we can go taller!) and each tier can contain a different flavour you love and adore. Semi naked cakes can also be finished with salted caramel drips, chocolate drips, retro chocolates, macaroons. Completely bespoke, fun and your personality in cake form.
